All jet ski drivers and passengers must watch the PWIA safety video. If you plan to take the rental test on site, arrive one hour before your rental time.

Yes, unfortunately there’s too many places in these waters to either get stuck, hit an oyster bed, or get in a potentially harmful situation.  We want everyone to have a blast, but we also want everyone to be safe.  Because of this we require all tours to have a guide with them just in case anything may happen.

Bookings must be made ahead of time, and at least an hour before the rental time.  As well all Amelia Jet Ski renters must have their temporary boating certificate done before coming in (if needed), and have already watched the PWIA safety video.  These items can be found in the “What to do first” section.

Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 need the required boating safety education card or an accepted rental certificate. Complete your certification before arriving. Check with our team if you have an existing certificate.

Renter’s must be at least 18 years of age with a valid drivers license.

Drivers under 18 must be at least 14 years of age and accompanied by a legal guardian or parent that is 21 or older.

Passengers must be at least 10 years of age

Bring your government-issued ID, proof of your boater’s safety license (if born after 1988), sunscreen, and a towel.  Wet suit bottoms are recommended for jet skis, but we have them if you would like to use ours.

Jet Skis:

Jet Ski, one tank of gas, a life jacket, a whistle, and instructions on how to operate the jet ski. *Wet suits are not provided but wetsuit bottoms are offered as well as helmets. Be prepared to lock your personal belongings in your vehicle, for the duration of your rental time (we are not liable for items lost or damaged during rental use).

DO NOT DRINK AND BOAT! If you or any rider are under the influence aka boating under the influence (BUI) — that is, operating any boat, sailboat, personal watercraft, water skis, sailboard, or similar device while intoxicated, you will NOT be allowed to ride.

Damage waivers have a deductible of $1000. Meaning that renters are only responsible for the damage up to $1000. This deductible does not cover PWC recovery in the event that the PWC is sunk, or ran aground. Waivers also do not cover lost items like life jackets or keys. Refer to the fee schedule for PWC recovery costs.  The full description can be found on the damage waiver page.  Damage waivers do not come automatically and must be purchased separate per piece of equipment.  Pricing will show in the booking flow.

The rental contract specifies terms whereby the primary renter is responsible for damages that may occur during the rental period. All of our equipment is photographed upon departure and arrival. This documentation is done to ensure accurate records for both Amelia Jet Ski Rental and the renter of the equipment. Charges will be applied to the credit card on file for the cost of damages.

If the weather is inclement because of lightning or heavy rains at the location and time of the rental, if trip protection was purchased we will refund the booking or reschedule to another day.  Please check weather before booking.

Jet skis/Boats are NOT allowed at or on the beach. You must stay within the boundaries explained by our licensed operators. Failure to follow the guidelines may result in the termination of the rental, loss of deposit, and being prohibited from future rentals.

Beyond the Wake LLC Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Rescheduling Policy

• Rescheduling any time before the day of booking is free, but doing so voids your Trip Protection. Any future cancellations after rescheduling will be non-refundable.

• Same-day rescheduling is subject to a $50 rescheduling fee.

• Rescheduling more than twice is subject to approval at Beyond the Wake LLC’s discretion.

2. Cancellation Policy

With Trip Protection:

• Cancellations made at any time before the rental start time will receive a full refund, minus the Trip Protection fee.

• No-shows are not covered—if you do not show up for your rental and your booking time has passed, your Trip Protection expires, and no refund will be issued.

Without Trip Protection:

• Cancellations with 24+ hours’ notice will receive a 90% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled rental are non-refundable.

3. No-Show Policy

• If you fail to show up for your rental, you will be charged 100% of the total rental cost with no refunds.

• You are purchasing a time slot, not just the use of the equipment. If you miss your rental time, you forfeit your booking.

4. How to Cancel

• All cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@evolutionjetsports.com.

• Cancellations cannot be made over the phone.

5. Chargeback Policy

By booking with Beyond the Wake LLC, you agree that you are purchasing a reserved time slot, regardless of whether you arrive to use the rental equipment.

• Any chargeback disputes for “services not provided” due to a no-show, missing your rental time, or failure to properly cancel via email will result in a $500 chargeback fee that will be applied to the card on file.

• If you attempt to bypass this policy by filing a chargeback instead of canceling properly, you agree to be charged this fee.

• • You must follow the Instructions of the Waverunner/Jet Ski/Boat Guide at all times.

• • You must wear a Coast Guard Approved Life Vest at all times.

• • You must have a Lanyard attached to PFD and Kill switch at all times.

• • You must obey “No Wake Zones” at all times.

• • You always look around before you turn. No sharp turns.

• • No reckless operation is allowed.

• • No splashing other boaters or skis.
  • No pets allowed on the equipment.

• • No jumping wakes of other boaters.

• • You must not ride 100 feet of a dock or moored vessel/ boat.

• • Jet ski must be boarded from the rear .

• • Full wetsuits are not available.  If needed because of weather etc. renters will need to bring their own.  Wet suit bottoms are available and helmets.

• • You must be 100 Feet from another ski/boat at all times. Safety first.

• • Any Violations of these rules will result in termination of the ride and no refund
  • Amelia Jet Ski Rental is not responsible for any lost possessions, please secure all belongings in your vehicle and leave keys behind the counter with the receptionist.  Any phones taken on the equipment need to be secured to your body, we can not be held liable for the loss of belongings.
