Choosing a tour around Amelia Island
Start with the experience your group wants. Are you looking to sit back and listen to a guide, drive your own craft, watch for dolphins, or add some active adventure to your vacation? “Boat tour” can describe very different outings, so compare the vessel, duration, departure point, and requirements before reserving.

OUR WAY TO EXPLORE AMELIA
Our option: guided jet ski adventures
Amelia Jet Ski Rental currently offers jet ski rentals and guided tours only, departing from downtown Fernandina Beach. You drive the jet ski or ride as a passenger, with a guide leading the group. Choose a one-hour ride or a two-hour eco tour around the Amelia and Cumberland waterways.
If you want an active ride, shared scenery and a little spray, our guided jet ski tours are worth a look. If your group needs a traditional seated passenger cruise, confirm those features with the operator you choose.

Searching for dolphins or Cumberland Island?
Look closely at the tour description. The vessel and route matter as much as the sightseeing theme. Our two-hour eco tour offers opportunities to spot coastal wildlife while riding jet skis. Dolphin sightings are never guaranteed, and the guide chooses the appropriate route and stops for the day.
Our Cumberland route guide shows the shared overview, including historic landmarks and points of interest ashore. Check what is included instead of assuming a tour includes island access or admission.

Compare the full outing
When comparing tours, look at the total for your group. Our one-hour jet ski tour is $125 per jet ski and the two-hour eco tour is $215 per jet ski. One passenger may share the jet ski at no extra passenger charge. Add the required $30 damage waiver per jet ski, taxes, and applicable fees; optional extras are shown in booking.
